Raid Grand Sud 5 Days : Departure Marrakech

 Day 1 : Marrakech- Talouine 

(quad – buggy day 240 km) 

Reception of customers at our mint tea base and delivery of equipment for customers (cheichs-gloves – helmets – goggles), explanation of safety instructions and a short initiation of about 30 minutes to familiarize yourself with your machine. Departure by quad or buggy by the track around 8 am in the direction of Talouine, a small town of nearly 6,000 inhabitants, an important stopover on the road which goes from Agadir to Ouarzazate. Picnic lunch on the way. Dinner and night in the village of Talouine.

 
Day 2 : Talouine- Foumzguid
(quad – buggy day 160 km)
Departure from your hostel towards Foumzguid, located at the gates of the Sahara desert, at the foot of a magnificent valley, about 150km from Tata and Tagounite. It is famous for its immense and superb oasis, as well as for the extreme beauty of its landscape. Picnic lunch on the road. Dinner and night in Foumzguid.
 
Day 3 : Foumzguid- Chegaga
(quad – buggy day 140 km)
Departure from your hostel towards Chegaga for a day between rolling track and large sand dunes. You will cross the dry lake Iriqui Lunch in the middle of the dunes. Resumption of the quads for an afternoon dune dinner and night in bivouac in the middle of the dunes.
 
Day 4 : Chegaga- Tagounite- Zagora 
(quad – buggy day 160 km) 

Departure from your bivouac towards the village of Tagounite, a village located 430 km south-east of Marrakech, at the gates of the M’hamid desert, then lunch in the village. Resumption of the quads in the direction of Zagora, you will cross the Draa Valley and its famous river over 1200 km long. Dinner and night in hostel.


Day 5: Zagora-Agdez

(quad – buggy day 120 km)
Departure towards Agdez, whose name means "place of rest", is on the old caravan route linking Marrakech to Timbuktu. Lunch in the village and end of the raid at 2 p.m.
